The following is a breakdown on the cost of combining airplane and helicopter ratings together. You will come out with an Airplane Private and Instrument rating, in addition to the Helicopter Private, Instrument and Commercial, for less then the cost of the Helicopter ratings alone. This is the most efficient way to get the most ratings for the lowest total cost.
However, if your goal is to become an instructor and instruct in the R22, then you will need 200 hours in helicopters to meet the SFAR 73 requirements. If that is the case, then this package is not for you.
Fixed wing flight training is offered to our clients through the following companies:
Baton Rouge: Baton Rouge Flight Instruction, LLC
Click on the following link for Fixed wing instruction in Baton Rouge.
